Cedric Shannon Rives is known in America for his talents not only as a singer, but also as a composer and actor in musicals. Born in Missouri, he spent his childhood and adolescence stimulated in music and prayer. Following in his father's footsteps, Cedric started singing in his church's youth choir.

The expressive intensity of his voice can involve the audience to the point of making them feel spirituality and the presence of the Lord.
